Wahibba Sands Adventure dan santai di Wadi Bani Khalid - Part 3
Ramlat Al-Wahiba, Sultanate of Oman. 2nd February 2012.
After checking in and offloading our stuff into our rooms, the fun in the sand started. Some went up the dunes, or tried to...a few tried to drive up the dunes, almost there...alas, needs skills and experience..and decided to go on-foot. Angih-angih jua... Kanak-kanak apa lagi, beuli-uli di pasir..hehe

After a strenuous uphill walk...stopping a few times catching our breaths...sudah sampai di atas, lega rasa... menunggu sunset.

After enjoying the sunset, it was time for dinner. Dinner was buffet style - menu included fried chicken, lamb stew, salad, humous, and fruits.
Kanyang lapas makan.Just outside our rooms, there's a cemented area. Di sini tah kami berkumpul, dan Alhamdulillah tempat menunaikan sembahyang fardu Maghrib dan Isya', dan esuknya sembahyang fardu Subuh.
وَأَقِيمُواْ الصَّلاَةَ وَآتُواْ الزَّكَاةَ وَارْكَعُواْ مَعَ الرَّاكِعِينَDan dirikanlah sembahyang dan keluarkanlah zakat, dan rukuklah kamu semua (berjemaah) bersama-sama orang-orang yang rukuk.
Since we brought some food for BBQ, Pg.Azhar our resident "Master Chef" prepared the BBQ... good hot food in the cold weather. It reached as low as 14 deg. C that night.
The sky was clear, we could count the stars and see the star constellations like the Orion Belt clearly, and the bright moon shining upon us.
"He (Allah) created the sun, the moon, and the stars (all) governed by laws under His Command." (Surah Al-'Araf, Ayat 54)
